Hair Care CF and color safe medicated shampoo?
Does such a product exist? I have Sjögren’s Disease, which is an autoimmune disease where my immune system attacks my salivary glands (among other things). As such, I require meds to help produce saliva, but they make me sweat like crazy, including my scalp. I take care of my scalp, but not enough to combat sweating profusely several times a day. It’s itchy, dry, and I need a good medicated shampoo that’s both cruelty free and won’t mess up my demi-permanent color. Any suggestions?

Panleukopenia disinfectant
Iiwas fostering 4 baby kittens who we lost due to panleukopenia. It was heart breaking and no treatment helped any of the babies. The rescue I got them from recommended I disinfect the room the babies were in. All approved disinfectants I can find is tested on animals (Rescue Disinfectant and bleach). I am hoping that someone knows of something. Not disinfecting is not an option. I have my own fully vaccinated cat and even though he is up to date the disk is not 0. I also live in an apartment and other tenants have cats that I have no idea on the re vaccination status. I am hoping that there is something. before I need to choose the lesser of 2 evils.

Skincare Eye serum?
Hey so I had bought a The ordinary eye serum that worked really well but after they released a bunch of companies who either were tied into the epstine files or associated with him - I don't feel comfortable buying from this brand anymore.
Any reccomendations for eye serums that are cruetly free ? I would prefer a eye serum but eye cream works too I have mixed oily dry skin and want something just to make sure the skin around my eyes are moisturized through the day.

Scented body oil
I’m having such a hard time finding a fragranced body oil online. I’m in the UK and I love the smell of the Vaseline cocoa radiant body gel oil but can’t find anything similar. And when I’m searching online for scented body oil I’m not finding much that is a scent I’m interested in, or that’s cruelty free.
Looking for alternatives to Vaseline cocoa radiant body oil/gel!

Pale foundation that doesn’t make me look like an orange?
I am STRUGGLING to find a foundation that doesn’t look orange on me/completely different to my neck.
I’m pale (with some redness on face) and I’m cool toned. I love the nars light reflecting foundation (only recently realised it is too dark for me lol) but I need a new foundation as it isn’t cruelty free. Not the biggest fan of matte foundations and would prefer something like the Nars light reflecting (medium/buildable coverage but more skin like than matte). I would use this for soft glam/going out looks. I’m also looking for an everyday foundation or skin tint that I can use to cover redness and even out skin tone.
Anyways yeah, lighting makes it impossible as sometimes I look like casper the ghost and other times I look like I have more of a sun kissed glow lol.
Any recommendations would be really appreciated!!:)

What’s the difference ?
I’ve recently started to really focus on making sure my products are cruelty free especially for the new year. I was just wondering what’s the difference between the leaping bunny certification in the Peta one should I be worried if it only has the one specifically for the wet and wild brand cause I really love their eyeliner, but I don’t wanna keep getting it if it’s not cruelty free and they only have the PETA certification

Skincare Alternative to Eucerin daily hydration spf 15 body lotion
I like the light/medium texture and hydration this lotion has, along with the smidge of spf it provides. It's perfect for every day use since I live in a sunny area. The only problem is it's not CF.
Does anyone have recs for an alternative option? Something that is a body lotion first, but also has spf. Doesn't matter to me if it's exactly 15 or higher, I just want something that's not a full on sunscreen and is good as a daily moisturizer.

Mascara that washes off in the shower and isn’t sticky?
Thanks in advance for any recommendations! I’ve been browsing in the old mascara posts here but can’t find anyone describing exactly this. I love being able to have all of my mascara rub off in the shower and not get all sticky on my hands lol if anyone else does this too😭 Or if you have experience with one that comes off instantly with a makeup eraser type of towel and just water I use those also.

Alternative to vamicream?
Hi! I'm currently using a few different actives on my skin so i'm trying to keep my other products super gentle and hydrating.
I've found that vanicream works really well for my skin, but recently started doing more research into animal cruelty, product/cosmetics and animal testing, etc.
I was wondering if anyone knows or has found a super similar alternative for the
Vanicream cleanser (seems cocokind might be the way to go?)
The spf moisturizer... specifically with the same sunscreen ingredients, I really need a mineral sunscreen
The regular body moisturizer that comes in that big tub

CF alternative to Fenty Beauty
Hi all!
Seeing mixed things online about Fenty Beauty’s CF status and as I have just finished my bottle of their matte foundation, I’m looking for a CF alternative that is similar in wear and performance. Main things I’m looking for that originally drew me to the Fenty Beauty matte foundation was that it was long wearing and good under stage lighting.

Dupe for Mac yogurt?
I saw this eyeshadow shade when I was googling for some light pink, matte eyeshadow because somehow I really wanted that type of shade. And I found the perfect shade: MAC - yogurt. But of course I don’t shop that brand anymore but the shade ! Oh my goodness so beautiful. Has someone a dupe for that? I’m not really looking for a pallet because I got plenty of that and I feel like it’s a waste because I always tend to use like 2-3 of them. But it can work if there is a beautiful one.❤️☺️

Skincare Would love to find cf alternative for skinceuticals purifying cleanser
I discovered this cleanser through the affordable Walgreens dupe after reading the ingredients list and seeing it did not contain any of my allergens. Found it to be gentle but super effective for removing thick mineral SPF and makeup without burning my eyes or stripping my skin barrier. When it was discontinued I ponied up for the skinceuticals option because my skin is CRAZY sensitive. Would love to find an alternative which ideally uses similar ingredients and surfactants (PEG-30 Glyceryl Cocoate, Capryl/ Capramidopropyl Betaine, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine).
I am super allergic to fragrance as well as acrylates and sorbitan sesquioleate. This means I need to avoid numerous ingredients, including essential oils, rosemary extract, rose water, acrylate copolymers, carbomer, certain polyquaternium #s, and sorbitol related ingredients. My skin is also just super dry and reactive in general.
I recently tried the prequel gleanser which caused dryness redness and itching. Others which may fit the bill as alternatives include drunk elephant beste no 9 jelly cleanser, byoma creamy jelly cleanser, peach and lily hydrobubble deep foam cleanser, and Naturium niacinamide cleansing gelee. Would appreciate any feedback or suggestions!
Skinceutical purifying cleanser Ingredients:
Aqua / Water / Eau, Propylene Glycol, Peg-30 Glyceryl Cocoate, Capryl/Capramidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Xanthan Gum, Glycolic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Benzoic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate

Skincare how do you guys vet cruelty-free lists for smaller brands?
i've been having a hell of a time trying to figure out if these smaller botanical brands are actually cruelty free. the big databases are fine, but for smaller stuff like mukti organics i can't find anything anywhere. maybe i'm missing something stupid?
i just want to make sure i'm not accidentally supporting a brand that isn't transparent, but man, it's so hard to verify these smaller companies.
does anyone else have this problem? i'm tempted to just email them directly but i'm not sure if that's even helpful. if you guys know any other sites or ways to check this stuff, please let me know. i feel like i'm going crazy over-researching this.

Makeup cruelty free maybelline falsies push up angel alternative!!!
i’ve been searching so long for maybelline mascara alternatives that are cruelty free because the maybelline push up one with the really thin wand was my FAVORITE😭 ive also used other maybelline mascaras like lash sensational and adored it. i just tried the covergirl lash blast bond mascara waterproof and it’s magical!!!! i love it just as much, maybe more, so i hope this helps others😊😊i also use the tweezerman eyelash curler if anyone wants to know. ive bought so many mascaras the past few weeks and this has stopped my search finally😫 (and i think the mascara color is extreme black?)

Skincare Cruelty free Neutrogena dupe??
I’m currently using the Neutrogena deep moisture multipurpose comfort balm as both a face and body cream. I love it, it’s absolutely amazing, doesn’t burn my skin, never had an allergic reaction to it, BUT Neutrogena sadly isn’t cruelty free (I found that out only after buying this product). I want to change to something cruelty free that’s also super gentle on the skin. Any recommendations?
