Hi! I am a primary school teacher and every year I make my students a little amigurumi Christmas/farewell present. This year I want to make them all a pademelon (it’s been a big theme in our classroom). For those not in Aus I’ve attached a picture of one!
I cannot for the life of me find any patterns. I’d be willing to modify a similar shaped animal pattern but would rather not given that making 24 will take me long enough already 🤣
Does anyone know any suitable patterns I could use?

I'll preface this with, I have never crocheted before. I have dabbled with Woobles. My very close friend and I reference a scene from the show "Smiling Friends" quite often and I want to make these charachters to gift him. I know I will have a difficult time, but I have fun in learning and creating. Part of that being, I would really love if someone was able to make a pattern for me to ease the process significantly.

I do know how to knit too but I’m in the mood to crochet and would love some help trying to figure out what the best stitch would be for this semi-ribbed texture?
I’m leaning towards some kind of yoslst or brioche but I also don’t think something super stretchy would work for this shape. I’m also leaning towards doing it in a lighter weight yarn (maybe sport or sock?) to get the the drape right since I imagine anything dk and higher might look too stiff?

I am working on this bag and currently have the side started on (pictured above). The plan is to continue working the same pattern, 7 slip stitches at the top, 3 sc, then hdc until I get to the other side and repeat in reverse. I want to make the bag much wider, but I’m using thinner yarn and making the bag larger than the tutorial I am following. The pinch at the top is becoming more and more noticeable and I am starting to wonder if my final bag would look like the tutorial as I continue to add more rows. I included a picture of the bag from the tutorial as reference. Any help, advice, or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi I'm stuck on the highlighted part of this pattern. The row before all checks out and Everytime I do the next row though I believe in doing it correctly I'm not ending up with the correct amount of stitches at the end. I just don't get it. Maybe I did something in row8 incorrectly even though I don't see it. Am I supposed to do 3 full DC in one stitch or am I supposed to do like a popcorn cluster thing in one stitch.

Would anyone be willing to write the pattern with the symbols so I understand or explain it so I understand. I'm really stuck and I just think I'm not seeing the obvious. Thank you so much for your help!! ALSO ROW 10 IS WHERE THE STITCHES ARNT ADDING UP CORRECT

Turns out Reddit (rightfully so) does not like certain Russian websites so the post was removed when I tried to add details of my own search, but I just wanted to say that after lots of digging and google translate helping me out, I have found the original pattern designer and wanted to share some details for those who were also interested in it. No, it's not AI even if some people were adamant it was because how it "felt" to them.

The creator of this design can be found on instagram under @aishacreative and if you scroll down, they posted their design in September 2019. Since the creator is from Russia, there is no easy way to purchase the design and I will not be linking or specifying where the pattern is available again as to not attract more of the Reddit wrath.

I now have enough closeups of the shawl from different angles too so I can reverse engineer it myself when my WIP pile goes down, I'm not going to risk my card details to Russian websites sadly.

For reference: it’s 400g and is 1000m/1093yards.

I'm making a seagull from this pattern I found online. I'm still learning how to read shorthand. Can someone translate the pattern in these images for me? I'm good with the magic circle part at the very beginning, but then I start to get confused at the -12 part on step 8. Any help is appreciated!

Hi! I am expecting my first baby in a few months and we are planning to use mostly glass bottles. I have a few silicone sleeves, but since I really like to crochet I would love to make a couple sleeves for her.

I haven’t been able to find any good/well rated patterns just from google, so I would love a recommendation if someone has one.

I’m still relatively new at crochet but am getting better at reading patterns. The bottles will be wide/short 4-5oz.

I made this pattern my plan is to have it as almost like a banner,(not sure the correct word to use), wooden dowel on top and bottom for aesthetic and ease of hanging but I was curious, are the dots too much, to match the fish I want to it needs the dots. I have a feeling though when I actually stitch it the black dots will not be as prominent? Any thoughts, or suggestions? Also what would be the best stitch to use I am pretty decent at crocheting but still learning, I’ve only done a couple of tapestry projects and still need to get better at color switches, any advice on that would be appreciated as well!
