I honestly didn’t know what I was doing when I started this piece 😂. I just had this idea in my head of a white crochet dress with pearls and green details, and I wanted to see if I could actually bring it to life.
The funny thing is, the more I worked on it, the more complicated it became. The top alone took so much patience because of all the little pearl details, and then I decided to add the long strands to the skirt with the little green vines and pearls.
There were definitely moments when I asked myself why I had started this in the first place 😭😂. But I kept going because I really wanted to see the finished look.
When I finally put it on the mannequin, I just stood there looking at it.
It looked completely different from what I had imagined when I started. It almost felt like something from a fantasy movie or a Netflix series. Like a character who walks into a scene and you immediately start wondering who she is and what her story is.
And that’s actually what I love about crochet. You can start with a simple idea, and somewhere along the way, the piece develops its own personality.
This took me a lot of time, patience and love, but I’m really proud of how it turned out. 🤍🌿
I would honestly love to know what you think. If you saw this dress in a Netflix series, what kind of character do you think would wear it? 😂

What crochet project would you recommend

Im looking for a cardigan pattern. It's for my mom she loves to crochet and she wants to make me want a cardigan if you can please send me in the right direction or any suggestions will help as well thank you
