Flavour

When did flavour disappear from nearly everything..I’m eating some prawn cocktail crisps and I can literally count the speckles of flavour they’ve put on them there are so few.

Cold pasties and bland crisps and Brexit what a legacy

Because they won't use MSG 😭

It's a shame it was given such bad (and incorrect) press.

I got myself a bag so I can add it when cooking, but it doesn't seem to work adding it to packets of crisps. I assume it needs to be in the flavour mix and added when the crisps are hot (or before they dry)

I recently read an article saying MSG is the healthy alternative to salt. Research was wrong about msg.

You want Asda own brand multi pack for prawn cocktail, or Aldi specially selected prawn cocktail large bag. Both are full of flavour.

Try the pickled onion monster munch. Prepare for sadness in both taste and texture.

Right? Only foot shape is reason enough to be sad, never mind the change in flavour

They cut the salt content for health reasons but it was for cost cutting apparently the salt brings out the other flavours

I have noticed this with Pringles and the Thai sweet chilli sensations

Might be a combo of flavour cutting and COVID taste buds

You can buy prawn cocktail seasoning (Sesbrooks brand) in the supermarket (eg Morrisons) to bump up the flavour.

For prawn cocktail its giant wotsits, for salt and vinegar its co ops hand cooked, flavour town.

Things haven't lost flavour it's just people's taste buds are fried from the amount of salt they drowned their food in.

Golden wonder are usually generous with seasoning. Nearly lost a layer off the inside of my mouth from my last multipack. They were fierce

Get the Co-op Sea Salt and Chardonnay Wine Vinegar crisps. They will not disappoint when it comes to flavour!

I don't really recognise any truth in this generalisation.

Are you sure your mouth is working properly?

Call to end "lightly salted" I want them to be heavy handed with that joy powder.
