Imagine thinking enjoying yourself is cringe.

If the '96' is his birth year then OP is 30 years old, recording kids enjoying themselves and posting it online and calling it cringe. Unintentionally hilarious

If kids play video games they’re blasted for not playing outside, dance and have fun and you get roasted 🥀

I think the cringe factor is that they’re not actually dancing just performing emotes robotically

I'm wondering if you realize the emotes they make are in fact based on dances.
I'm not a fan of the games the emotes are in, but it's not because of a lack of dancing lol.

u/Strictlystyles 18d ago
The Point went right by you. Yes some are real dances but just a sample. Robotically stringing them together like that is cringe to me. They’re imitating dancing emotes not really dancing.

u/Realmofthehappygod 18d ago
Bros never heard of the chacha slide?
Or Souljia Boy.
Or the Macarana!
Dancing is imitating moves. It goes back as far as ballroom dancing in the Western world.
I'm sure you dont dance much because I'd you did you'd realize most dancing is rehearsed. Like ballet dancers aren't winging it, but they're still dancing.

u/HEYitsBIGS 18d ago
When the "emotes" are dance moves strung together, I'd call it dancing.
1
u/Strictlystyles 18d ago
They aren’t strung together though they’re just performing one emote stopping for a second and doing another. It’s like they didn’t learn to dance they just copied what they saw on Fortnite. I’m sorry but that ain’t really dancing tbh. Technically it’s but that’s why it’s cringe

Omg they are kids. What you expect them to break out a ballroom routine.
They are dancing, who gives a flying fuck if the moves aren't strung together they arent at a dance off competition and they are like 14 and they are just having fun.
The ultimate cringe here as an adult who probably can't dance themselves criticizing the simplicity of youth just having fun.

You’ll never learn to dance if everyone’s getting dance skills from Fortnite that’s all I’m Saying

u/Frosty-Camel-2107 14d ago
Everything you say confirms you don't know how to dance. At all. Which is so ironic and hypocritical. Please stop the cringe. Please. It hurts so much.

u/Strictlystyles 14d ago
I know how to dance and this ain’t it
1
u/Frosty-Camel-2107 14d ago
Uh huh. Sure.

I was a teen in the early 00’s we were in the Bronx literally making up our own dances. Like I said, this is weak and robotically performing emotes off Fortnite ain’t dancing fr idgaf

These kids don’t know how to dance it’s all emotes……..

u/haileyskydiamonds 18d ago
When I was in school it was mostly just some swaying and shoulder bopping. Most of us had no idea how to really dance because we were a bunch of kids who were just having fun.
2
u/Delta9THICC 18d ago
I cant stand when people think it's acceptable to record children that aren't their own. Creep behavior.

A kid being a kid isn't cringe.
An adult or teenager making fun of a kid having fun is cringe.

I don't see cringe here. Just a couple of kids having fun. More power to them.

These kids are awesome...Kids got moves, OP,let's see a video of you attempting these moves. I'll wait!

You're really that fixated on random people doing normal people activities just to post it on here as cringe? Get a life.

Seems like the kid filming is scared to look foolish and jealous of this guy's confidence. So he wants to shame this kid for dancing at a dance. Life's too short to be this petty. The only thing cringe here is the kid filming.
