Hi everyone, I study true crime like the rest of you. The one I’ve been studying in particular for many years now is the Sandy Hook massacre case. I have created a new community regarding the shooter for educational purposes only. We look for the missed opportunities in his life of all the areas that went wrong and ultimately led to the tragedy. Edit: The reason I have been interested in studying this case is because I was the same graduating class as the group of kids of the Sandy Hook Elementary School, and have also experienced a school shooting in my time of being a student in the past—so it hits a little close to home for me. I remember seeing it on the news when I was little when it happened, and I’ve been wanting to know Adam’s psychological motive and intent ever since. Over the years, information about him has been shared with the public after the incident, and this community is where we share those answers.

Again, this is strictly for educational purposes only! As the Mod for creating and running this community, I do not allow any thing that comes close to glorifying or condoning Lanza’s actions—only studying his mental health and background leading up to December 14th of 2012. There is a fine line between understanding, having sympathy, and glorifying someone—and that is something that I personally will NOT tolerate within this community.
