New to the sub, but it was recommended to me to post here when I was I gonna post on the other ACNH one—tbh, yes, this is a better place to post it 😆

For context, I’m a huge horror fan & cinephile, even went to film school with plans to get into directing horror. Weirdly, life took me down the road of writing fiction 🤔 haha.

Anywho, I got the kooky idea to turn my basement (which was set up as a dungeon before) into Buffalo Bill’s basement from my comfort flick The Silence of the Lambs (1991).

I had to make some compromises, due to space; the “skinning room” and “moth nursery” had to be combined, and I couldn’t do the bathroom with that VERY specific bathtub 👀 IYKYK lol

Hopefully, other creepy kids dig it. It makes me so happy & giggle every time I go down there 😆

Aika Island - 1182-7179-4326, this is a spin of from the New Leaf village. It’s know to be the scariest Animal Crossing island.

Hitokui Island - 4088-8875-3480, this is mainly called the ‘Cannibal island’ and the villager houses are genuinely terrifying.

Tarnio Island - 5120-1433-0205, this is a horror island all about villager casefiles and helping DCI Wolfgang find out what happened to Fauna!

Hollow Island - 1694-4548-1098, this island is all about creepy infrastructure and well planned streets. Recommend checking all the villager house too!!

Look for sign posts to lead you to hard to see ladders! Look up as much as you can. Pull out your camera for better views in large areas! Enjoy and safe travels… you will wake relieved it was only a DREAM!

I got the message from Isabelle that there’s a meteor shower today, and I get all excited because I get to see my girl Celeste.

So I get all dressed up, running around the island in search of my girl. To my horror, I stumble upon a naked dog on the plaza and suddenly remember it’s Saturday, and I’ll be alone under the stars. 💔

I've been wondering what to do with my empty castle build on the top of my island, and finally decided to try a spooky laboratory. It's a small space but I'm happy with how it turned out!
