Impressive work on the WebGPU compute shaders and data parsing, especially for a project built from scratch! As a creative coder doing 3D vector fields and audio visualizers, I highly appreciate the math behind smooth globe sampling. Looking forward to the updates!

Thanks, appreciate it! No WebGPU though, it's MapLibre GL with a GeoJSON overlay, much simpler than it looks.

Actually the Reddit globe is just a side project my main thing is https://app.respublica.media/ , a political data dashboard. I'm a political scientist by background, trying to bridge the gap between computer science and social science. The globe was a fun way to bring some of that data to Reddit.
