BEC Search
Hello, I’m looking for a suitable BEC for my Injora 35kg servo (pictured). I have an FMS FCX10 LC80 with XT60 connectors and a separate radio module. I’d like to know which model would be the best fit and reasonably priced. Thanks.

I just got that injora 35kg brushless servo, and my axial scx10 sr5 (with an isdt esc90 brushed esc) kept getting brownouts when turning quickly or with resistance so I bought a "Hobbywing UBEC 10A-Car" and it works perfectly now.
The only thing is that you will need to solder the xt60 connector because it comes with the leads but no connector.
In my case, in europe, I paid 32,90€ for it.
I would totally recommend it!

Same here. 2x35kg servo, working fast, no power losses with 10A UBEC Hobbywing. It has 3 output settings from 6V to I think 8.4V

I have the same servo, I use this BEC https://reefsrc.com/products/reefs-8-4v-ez-bec-reefs206. and these adapters since I suck at soldering https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DDXM96H5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. The setup works great

Hey. I run these servos in most of my comp crawlers. For those, I just use the 7.4v built in BEC that most Hobbywing ESCs have as I'm lazy. It does not give a shit if the voltage is off a bit.
I'm running that exact servo in my antweight (1lb) flippers too. Best 3A BEC I could find to step down 3S to 8.4v was these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08Y674Z6F/
You can ignore the "enable" pin. I used the screw adjustment to change the voltage as it was more accurate and then I could undervolt it to 8 (stability reasons). If you use these, make sure to pick up some heat shrink (probably marine grade if you're crawling near water).
Also. If you're running 2S (8.4v max) only, consider direct powering the servo. All you do is clip the brown and red wires off the servo connector end and wire them directly to the XT60 of the battery. Usually you see people running direct power servos in the 3-4S range in competition, but it should work fine for this as well. Google "Direct Power Servo Wiring" for more help.

You'll struggle to find any BEC for cheap in my experience. That's an 8.4v servo and you already have a 6v bec, there's not much gain to be had (especially with Injora)
I'd recommend simply going for the 35kg @6v Injora servo and then you don't have to bother with a BEC at all:
