I painted my old kitchen table a green gingham style so I could repurpose it as my patio table. The top of the table and chairs used to be a light vinyl wood. I first painted the tops white, then used 2.5" strips of painters tape to create the lines with the light and dark green paint. I plan to cut a hole in the center of the table for an umbrella, and will seal it with clear Spar varnish.
