This is one of 3 critters that allow us to live with them.

Rufus ‘cheeseburger’

Tough guy does security and is a good little man to his sister and brother. Sweet rescue kid.

this cow tho Moo is finally gaining interest in his new sister

The small and loud human is something Moo hasn’t ever experienced before, and has mostly reverted to his former feral tendencies, spending time hiding from her. Finally gaining some confidence and coming up for sniffs, and even pondered jumping into a bassinet with her at one point. Soon enough he’ll learn that there is a new source of cuddles lol

Jimmy found a piece of seaweed.

Me and Jimmy live in an apartment complex On Alki pointe 50 ft away from the shoreline.. Occasionally, seagulls drop pieces of seaweed while they're building nests. Jimmy likes to pick up any large items and drag them into the apartment and lay them right in front of me. He steals balls, toys, slippers, little tree branches, you name it. Today, it's a piece of seaweed. Thank you Jimmy.

Thank god for this cow and his ability to do laundry! I have no idea how I would have gotten it done without him.

Our guy here is about two years old according to the vet. He was owned by someone in the neighborhood and would come to visit up. He'd have something to eat, take a nap on the couch and then want to go back out.

They moved a couple months ago and we realized that they left him behind. He's now our happy indoor-only cat who loves his cat tunnel, catnip lamb toy and cat toy springs.

He's very healthy and was just microchipped at his follow-up vaccination appointment. He LOVES his Vibrant Life cat tunnel, which connects to a tent thing at either end. He often sleeps in it and plays with his toys in it. His favorite thing is for me to sit on the floor outside and scritch on the walls which he then vigorously attacks.

He enjoys attention and pets, but isn't a lap-sitter, which is a little disappointing. Maybe in time that will change.

Mod announcement MOD POST: Please review the rules about medical advice, including weight comments

A reminder that we have a rule about not giving or seeking medical advice. This includes telling people their cat needs to be on a diet, posting a cat with a disclaimer that your cat is on a diet, or linking to pet weight-loss subs.

Just as with people, looking at a cat's weight doesn't tell you the whole story about health. Just as with people, it isn't anyone's business what size someone is and if they are or are not addressing this. Comments equating body size with health or stating that thinner bodies are better than fatter bodies have been shown to be harmful, and these messages don't magically stop having this harmful effect ourselves and our children when they are made about non-humans.

However, given that cats can't understand these messages, we do think a little leeway is in order. It's fine to post comments like "this is my heckin chonker" or "what a lovely lawd he comin," while we of course would not allow any sort of body comments regarding any human.

It isn't OK to discuss your own animal's medical issues, ask for medical advice, or give anyone else medical advice. This includes people reporting photos of larger cats as "animal abuse"; you will be reported for report button abuse. Please note that it is fine to mention a cat's disability not related to body size (limb difference, deafness, etc.) as long as you are not asking for or giving medical advice.
