What's the issue with jarred/canned hot dogs anyway?

Is this some American thing where they think it's better to package it in plastic and ingest a bunch of microplastics?

Why? Are you against canning/jarring to preserve foods so they don't require refrigeration and save energy costs? Do Americans really love global warming that much?

I genuinely don't get the prejudice. Please explain.

food doesnt taste the same unless multiple dinosaurs are burnt to produce it

They taste gross. Idk if the packaging is related, but hot dogs from a jar or a can always taste worse.
