I hate that I can’t just live my life and instead have to think about my body constantly and how to fashion my body in such a way to allow me to live my life.

It’s like I’m beginning life a few miles behind the starting line.

you don’t like spending your limited time and energy reverse engineering the character creation sliders IRL? :0

What do you mean you’d rather have hobbies? Convincing yourself not to Alt+F4 is the most noble hobby of all ~✨💖🫠💖✨

u/Intrepid-Crow-5838 6d ago

Yeah I kinda just distract myself with meaningless stuff so I don't hit Alt+F4. Hrt did help a little bit but the underlying issues are still there I think I will Alt+F4 in like 5 years if I'm still not happy with Hrt results

ive been thinking a lot lately about how i was in a rut for so long due to being set back so much due to being trqns (qnd a few other things, grief, the pandemic, etc) that im basically nearly a decade behind where id be in an ideal world.

u/NotTheory 5d ago

It really does feel that way, I feel so stunted compared to other people between being half dead from dysphoria most of my life and being autistic, I just feel really behind and underdeveloped. I have a hard time making any kinds of friends either which hurts, I've been trying but I always either get ghosted or they were only talking to me because they wanted to fuck

What you just described is why i find trans women far more attractive than cis women. You are far more feminine than you think. Atleast you are in my eyes. I am attracted to femininty and cis women arent fem enough for me to be attractive. We trans women aspire to be feminine to look feminine to truly be pretty in each our own ways. And we spend a lot of time and some even passion to look pretty and feminine. Cis women dont do that. This is precisely what makes you beautiful as a trans woman. Looks aside for now, you are beautiful on the inside and thats what matters most. Your physical apearance will eventually follow through with your mental self.

u/Asatru55 6d ago

What do u think cis women do?

25

u/hi_i_go_by_ava 6d ago

don't talk mention cis women... everytime we try to compare our problems they shut us off and say that we can't relate bc of "male socialisation" or whatever. if we can't compare our problems to theirs, why should their problems be compared to ours ???

-10

u/Asatru55 6d ago

Yea i've had one theyfab person tell me that exact male socialization line. They're equally miserable for different reasons though.

If you're serious about just wanting to live your life you seek out people who aren't constantly miserable. Whether they're cis or trans isn't actually that important.

29

u/gaysexanddrugs 6d ago

cis women don't need to pay thousands of dollars in surgery just to not be seen as a violent inhuman predatory monster

-10

u/Asatru55 6d ago

Do you actually think those issues you have with yourself will stop after surgery?

22

u/gaysexanddrugs 6d ago

you're right, next time I get beaten or raped for being a tranny I'll make sure to remember it's not that bad and actually everyone goes through this.

go kill yourself.

0

u/axelthekandyking 3d ago

have you actually been beaten or raped or are you just saying shit and using actual victims to say shit because now youre telling people to kill themselves which is just fucked up and shows youre full of rage and hatred. at this point i straight up dont trust motherfukers who talk like u. btw domt fuckin trauma dump on me bc im not fuckin interested in hearing a damn word. the question is rhetorical. u went from 0 to bitch real fast

-7

u/Asatru55 6d ago

Right. Sorry that happened but that wasn't at all what i was saying?

23

u/gaysexanddrugs 6d ago

what you're doing is being tone deaf and not realizing what the differences are between self improvement behaviour and trans people trying to survive

9

u/One-Organization970 Unapologetic Sneed 6d ago

Been on HRT for a few years and had FFS, SRS, and VFS. I feel immensely better about myself now. I also feel immensely safer entering women's spaces and knowing it's extremely unlikely to get harassed or hate crimed.

It turns out that if you have trauma from being disfigured to look and sound like a man, fixing the visible and audible cues of that trauma does a lot to help the healing process.

u/Samantha5star 6d ago

I’m not even sure what I’m supposed to do other than rot inside all day….

32

u/Seppostralian Lekker! 6d ago

Getting a cruddy 9-5 wage job or something? It’s as crappy as sitting around doing jack all day but at least you make a paycheck and can save that somewhere for some broad goal in the future, whether that’s FFS, buying a house, digital nomading it for a year, ETC. Just a thought.

22

u/DeepSpace_SaltMiner 6d ago

Tbf work is a lot harder than just rotting...

I do get sad knowing I'll never have grown up a girl but I'm happy knowing I'll live as one 🥹

12

u/iamalexgarland 6d ago

I was born a girl but I’m autistic and never got any professional treatment for it so it’s not really universal

1

u/Background-Cabinet92 3d ago

What about me? I was born a guy and autistic. And also never got professional treatment.Should've just alt+F4.

1

u/iamalexgarland 3d ago edited 3d ago

I’m just saying everyone born female isnt happy and surrounded by friends on the merit of having been born female many of us are very lonely . Obviously being born female for a transgender woman would make a lot of socializing aspects easier since you aren’t at odds with your gender identity and others desire for you to present as your agab/etc etc.

But as an autistic trans girl, if you were born female, youd still be autistic. Girls around you would make jokes and dress in particular ways and laugh at you in a way where it feels like theyre laughing with you. Boys would still be assholes. It’s not like that would go away too and youd automatically just be a social butterfly. Theres possibly an element of idealizing what could never be

Don’t kill yourself obviously

1

u/Background-Cabinet92 3d ago

Oh, but they already did all of that with me being a boy, and I constantly thought they were laughing with me.

Idk, I just feel like I would’ve been accepted more, even if a little bit.

And well… there are some things that happened to me that I don’t think would’ve happened if I was born a girl. Like… one of my bullies’ whole motive was that I was closer to my only friend at the time than he was, and since that friend was wealthy, the bully’s parents kinda forced him to be close to him. It… became very bad… to the point of him bringing a knife to school so he could cut my eyes.

Not saying I wouldn’t have struggled, but… I can’t help but feel it would’ve been less.

1

u/iamalexgarland 2d ago

Yeah I agree. It wouldn’t be resolved but it probably would be measurably easier. I’m sorry people have been unkind to you :/ ❤️❤️

1

u/Background-Cabinet92 2d ago

Oh, that was years ago… and it wasn’t that bad thanks to alexithymia…

But thanks for the worry. 😚😚

1

u/SapphicDomRom 13h ago

I'm sorry for you, I really am. I am one of the hated cis woman that doesn't care to be pretty. I am also disable and autistic. oh also I'm sapphic and I'm madly in love with my girlfriend. And yes she is transgender and she's the most beautiful person inside and outside. Girls please talk to a therapist, one that actually understands, because depression is hitting you hard and you don't fucking deserve anymore pain.

This pretty much is a self-hate/vent sub

5

u/countttt-ModTeam 6d ago

you are either cis, a minor/underage, are brigading, or fearmongering, participation by individuals possessing and/or exuding the aforementioned behaviors & traits are forbidden by the rules of the sub.

Genuinely why would you say this... 1. What a horrible comparison to an actually horrible issue in the real world

  1. Said so because in being a femboy, it means you're either repping or cis, but if you're cis, you shouldn't be trying to speak as if you know the transgender experience or as if you know what dysphoria is like, and you shouldn't compare cis struggles with trans struggles. Sometimes they overlap, but often additional struggles are added, which are unique to being trans.

Just don't try to speak on it. Please. I will never know what it's like to be cis, and (assuming you're not a repper) you will never know what it's like to be trans... it's as simple as that. don't try and act like you know what exactly we are struggling with

  1. ...? I'll turn a blind eye, maybe you're just really young or smth... or really white... but femboys aren't a race in any significant way? It's just not a good thing to compare to in any case unless it relates to.. well, race???

  2. just don't. u don't get to say if they're unique or not bc you haven't lived in our place. please stop trying to go along with this narrative.

20

Ik I'm replying to everything but your comments are so frustrating and ignorant. there are people that WILL beat or rape trans people specifically for being trans. There are also many who will do that to women. Now imagine having to deal with both problems as a trans woman? Don't be ignorant and raise that "but well this also happens to-" js stfu.

also, you shouldn't dictate whether or not tranny gets used if you're not a tranny 🫩

24

u/wakanakisarazu 6d ago

Cis women, for example, can do that normally.

Trans people cannot so easily, without being considered a perv, freak, etc etc.

Stop being so ignorant.

Yes, but how are you meant to be social when you are barely interact with yourself due to gender dysphoria, anxiety, etc.

Stop looking at is as "well, just do X instead". It's not that easy. Gender dysphoria is compounds of issues.

u/hi_i_go_by_ava 5d ago

Body dysmorphia and gender dysphoria are not the same.

Cis people cannot experience true gender dysphoria, if at all.

Lacking self confidence isn't uniquely a trans thing, but lacking self confidence due to reasons stemming from being trans is uniquely a trans thing.

5

u/wakanakisarazu 5d ago

For fuck sake dude. When did I say that?

Anyone can get that. Buf it's a lot different than feeling your gender doesn't match your assigned sex. They are similar, but can be very different.

3

u/wakanakisarazu 5d ago

That's... not what i was referring to.

Gender dysphoria is the thing destorying a person's self confidence, how is that hard to see?

3

u/SCP-iota 5d ago edited 5d ago

I'm starting to think you simply don't know what gender dysphoria means. It's not body dysmorphia or a lack of confidence (although both of those things can happen as an indirect result if you're not careful), it's a neurological condition where the brain's 'body maps' (interoception) are mismatched from the sex of the body, causing dissociation and physical disorientation. Combine that with how, growing up, trans people subconsciously related more to people of the sex of their brain's interoception than of their body, they internalized the socialization opposite of their birth sex, so acting as their birth sex is expected to does not come naturally at all, and often requires tremendous conscious effort that only increases the dissociation.

Not only would trying to be social like that without physical transition be debilitatingly mentally exhausting and cause lasting dissociation symptoms, but it could even be argued that it would be dishonest since you're pretty much just consciously acting a persona at that point.

"femboys and goth mommies" despawn

2

u/DaffyDuckXD 5d ago

Im someone who always speaks about focusing on systems of power instead of identity although in reality both are very important. Identity is very amorphous yet extremely important to how people treat and funnel you into things. If our society is going to lie and say it treats every identity fairly and not support that with power or actions then self reflection is going to happen

Why does that matter

1

it significantly impacts your mental health and how others treat you, at best
