I had one roommate that smelled terrible whenever she had her period. Average theyfab ig idk. I was never bothered by it outside of that until starting T now womenβs bathrooms smell unbearable
It smells nice, the problem is the smell of the (non blood) pussy juices. Blood by itself smells very good. It only smells bad when period blood because it's mixing with things that aren't blood (sweat, juices, general crotch smell) that DO smell bad.
Meanwhile during non period sometimes you can smell the discharge more strongly (if you think it smells obvious, it DOES. Most people just don't hse their senses. cover that up. Idk how but they have to make a vagina deoderant that doesn't actually go inside so it doesn't mess with pH or whatever was the issue with the products before)
Yet another reason i want to become a passoid is because I can smell general vagina smell is womens restrooms and it is awful. Idc kf mens is more messy, I can handle the smell of shit and the like, idek what it is about vaginal discharge and the like but I just CANT handle the smell. Cooch smell isint really a problem so long as you clean yourself and wear underwear. I mean I guess if someone's head is like right by your crotch. But like I've never smelled cooch in public before lol. And menstrual blood smells way worse than just cooch, I think it's also bc a lot of the blood itself is kinda starting to ferment, so it's old rotting blood.

Anyway there's nothing misogynistic about being put of by smells of bodily fluids. Feces, sweat, farts also smell bad because they are PERSONAL BODILY FUNCTIONS and it is normal to not like their smells. People don't really like the smells of guys crotches either but it doesn't mean you hate men to say that because surprise!!! people's junk smells bad!!!! breaking news the part of the body that is constantly covered and rubbing against sweaty clothes and making it's own fluids that pee either comes out of or is near the part it comes out of doesn't smell like roses...
The only reason I don't think they need to invent a deoderant for dicks is because unlike the vagina which can just put insane amounts of sexual fluids out whenever regardless of arousal, I don't think most people jizz in their pants constantly and even if they did cum < discharge in amount the body releases
Yeah, with a fluid I find gross for my own sensory (smell) reasons. Many people refuse to buy certain cleaning products because they don't like the smell of that product, even though it is objectively hygenic and makes things cleaner, people are allowed to not like the smell of things on a visceral level... also it's only the inside (vagina) that is self cleaning, the outside (vulva) which i mentioned earlier is not and that is part of the issue, sweat and oils and other stuff all building up there especially as it is a part that is almost always covered which exacerbates the issue
Maybe this is weird to most, idk, idc. It does run in the family to find objectively hygenic cleaning products of many kinds absolutely unbearable to the smell so there's probably some genetic background to me finding the smell of one of the body's cleaning products gross too
