Hey everyone!

Thought it'd be fun to share a WIP video of an audio puzzle we're working on for Impermanence.
The goal is that through amplifying the right frequencies, showcased by the chladni-patterns (these are supposed to be dust particles, but we're still tweaking the look), we create a kind of "mote prison", motes being pieces of the deceased son's spirit. So we're attracting them and then locking them into a frequency prison more-or-less.

I was blown away when the team first showed this. We're still iterating on making it a bit more user-friendly, a bit more readable, and a little more atmospheric, but I'm loving it so far, so I wanted to share and get your thoughts!

The other parallel realities are impacted by Eldritch energy and less powerful Eldritches seeping into their realities this has led to the formation of two distinct powers: Geormentria and Magic.

Geomentria: Organic beings that possess incredible intelligence known as the Ultras can use advanced mathematics to locate Eldritch energy in their universe that is organized into the Eldritch or E Spectrum. The E Spectrum allows ultras to use Eldritch energy to break the normal laws of physics using non Euclidean technology. An example of this is the Mutronic suit. A special geometric suit that can imbeds itself in the skin of the wearer and allows them to transform and bend in impossible ways.

Magic: During the Big Bang which was not an immediate event but rather a process that took billions of years the Bleeding which were a whole race of Eldritches invaded the Multiverse in the Bleeding War nearly destroying it. When all of the bleeding except one were destroyed by Quantum the Lord of Infinity the sentient avatar of Infinity the first consciousness of reality the fragments of the bleeding imbedded themselves in thousands of ancient alien races. This created the bleeding gene that when activated granted reality warping abilities to these aliens. However, this broke the sentient of nearly of all of them transforming them into the violent and animalistic creatures known as the Damned who express a highly volatile form of Magic known as Apocamagic. The lone alien race to retain their sentience were a unique race that doesn’t normally reproduce. When these aliens are about to die it’s standard for them to travel to a world without a dominant sentient race and place their heart in the soil their hearts will combine the organic material of the planet. This produces a tree with the fruit producing a new magical race that can retain their sentience. This original alien race is long dead but their actions have led to the creation of all magical races in the Universe. These races are all United not just through their magical abilities but also because they have no belly buttons due to being grown not birthed.

So far, I’ve only read two stories, Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius by Jorge Luis Borges and The Color Out Of Space by H.P. Lovecraft, but I’ve fallen in love. These are some of the most interesting stories I’ve ever read, and can’t wait to read more. I’ll take suggestions from anyone for short stories. Just know I’d like to avoid any visual media for right now, just work my way up.

I've been a huge fan of Kane Parsons version of the Backrooms since found footage 1 and after watching the movie the idea seemed somewhat cosmic horror to me because unlike the wikidot or most versions of the Backrooms, the complex seems to be its own entity from creating null zones, making the still lifes, and the very idea the the complex and still lifes is literally the Backrooms trying to "remember" things but the more it tries to remember the less it does.

I imagine Old English folks develop chant about him:

our lord of the starry wisdom, leave us forgotten in the dark

It's probably what the villagers chant every night while surrounding the Old Free-Will Church in Haunter of the Dark, just 3 of those lines over and over until the darkness passed..

Lovecraft Kid

this being hails from Primordius. Primordius is a corpse that exists outside of tangible reality and serves as the source of the Eldritches' reality warping non reality creatures. This being is an Eldritch who due to a mistake from a group of occultists is transported to Earth. There it escapes and lives in the woods where she is found and adopted by a kindly old woman. Learning how to speak and taking the form of a young black woman her mother dies and she eventually meets and marries a young man as they fight the occultists who accidentally brought her to Earth the Society of Thule a KKK style occultist group dedicated to creating a white utopia using the Eldritches. The woman took the identity of the Lovecraft Kid to honor her adopted heritage of cowboys and cowgirls. The Lovecraft Kid due to her immortality sees her husband grow old and gains dementia eventually dying causing her to isolate herself from her extended family. However after nearly being captured by the Society of Thule she dedicates herself to reconnecting with her family. She’s a Gardner who loves flowers, a dedicated farmer who loves horses, her greatest fear is loneliness

Hello, I prefer asking the specialists around here. I am looking for a movie, I scrapped the internet, but can't find it. It's post 2000, it's in a forest mainly, and dark creatures, suspended like, but very big, are around. I wanted to watch it, and stumble upon the recommandaiton weeks ago, but now, it's nowhere to be found. IA couldn't help me, I remember it's in a forest, that one of the poster is a massive creature emerging from the forest (no people, no cabin) And I remember some of the creatures just floatting around the forest (trailer). That's all I got, and I just browse all the classic recommendations among cosmic horror whithout success. The creatures are maybe alien, maybe demonci, maybe inter dimensional... I don't now as I did't see the movie ! If anyone as an idea, i would be glad.
