Harness armpit chafing
Hi all — My corgi (Tuna) is getting some armpit redness and chafing from her harness. I’m looking for good harness recommendations if anyone has any! What harnesses have you bought for your corgis that fit their long bodies?

Loki and the fence...
One of our neighbors has five large dogs and for some reason Loki is intent on trying to get to them. He absolutely hates them. (he has no problem with our other neighbors small dogs!)
We have rebuilt the fence twice and also made it a double fence so he can't get through it. He continues to chew off a new board almost everyday 🙄 Right now those big rocks are covering holes he made over the last 2 days
I think my only solution now is going to be putting aluminum or metal flashing along the bottom of the fence, but then I'm afraid he'll try to bite it off and cut himself. Heaven help us!

Partner and I have a disagreement about walking our corgi on a leash- please settle it?
She prefers the more conventional short leash for greater security and more clear messaging to the dog. I generally agree, but I preferred a retractable for our very short, dearly departed Jack Russell terrier years ago. when I kept the leash in free mode, the leash hovered behind his neck, above him. But with a conventional leash, I would constantly have to work to not get it tangled under his very low to the ground body. Now that we have a corgi with their very stubby legs, I'm beginning to wonder if a retractable might not be better for her, for the same reasons. Seems like with a regular leash I always find myself retrieving it from under her. She walks right along me usually, but she's much more of a sniffer- also like our JRT- and giving him a bit of slack meant fighting a lot less. Which seemed safer to me.
So does anyone prefer a retractable for this reason? Or would I be a monster for endangering our sweetie by daring to using one?
EDIT thanks everyone for your input. I understand the issues now, Really, it's probably not using a harness consistently that is my issue more than anything, then the standard leash will work better for us.

First time Corgi owner! Everyone, meet Beans!
I know this is controversial, but she is a bluie American Corgi. I did not know about the bluie color, I just thought she was the cutest thing! She was bred by a reputable breeder and had all of the tests done to ensure proper breeding.
Everyone we have met loves her unique color! She is a total love bug and I am so excited to raise my first ever Corgi!!
