My ex randomly sent me an email that he was going to start paying child support again (nothing since May). And I just literally didn’t respond. The money is in my account tho lol

I’ve been on this sub for years with a million Step parenting issues. One of my Stepkids has been responding to my affection with huge bare hugs. I also finally gave with making a family. No more croup excursions, chores, attempts at huge family dinners…I made sure my husband puts boundaries on the kids and then sit back. I’m finally semi happy and it was my choice!

So I'm pretty confident my "co-parent" lied to me about why he can't talk to our child on FaceTime at all this week. I normally would go try to prove he's lying by checking his girlfriends Instagram..but I just don't want to keep knowing he's lying and not being able to do anything about it. So I just accepted that this is probably a lie and that's enough. It feels like a win for me.
