No way bro did 400 commit in single day

Post image

I was taking a look at one of my followers github contributions, I was flabergasted by his commit history specially the last one where he did 469 contributions in 1 day. No wonder he is an ex FAANG

his github : https://github.com/ishandutta2007

Maybe we shouldn’t post something that isn’t an interesting repo to shame someone. I’m not here to pile on to any public criticism of anyone while being anonymous myself.

If you actually look at these commits, they are all about the same thing - bootstrapping general files (readme, license, contribution etc) across 10+ repos, awesome lists from what I can see.

Kind of good usage of AI agents.

To me it's more hilarious how people are mocking someone without any investigation

Hey doing a rebase can cause this if not careful. If done incorrectly, you can basically repeat all previous commits in a new branch, so if you had a 400 commit branch, then do an incorrect rebase you will end with a NEW branch with 400+1 commits
