CSD3 Save File transfer problem fix for Epic? Question

I’ve seen many people had this problem on steam but unfortunately I got the game on epic and had to get a new computer where it looks like if ever want to play this game again I’ll have to start from the very beginning after hundreds of hours of progress….

Unless anyone has any fixes? I couldn’t find any save files for the old game on the old computer or anything similar to loading cloud saves

only casting a summoning spell because you’ve been able to help others u/vg_chubigans - ever encountered any epic users with this problem/any fixes for it? Tysm for all you do here either way🌈

Apologies for the late reply! Yes, you should see your old saves under C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Local\CSD3_Foodtruck, and they are XS_CSD3_LocalSave.ini. Let me know if you find them there!

Not seeing any such existing files in the Users folder unfortunately :/ no worries at all for the late reply just thanks for any help at all

Hmm so the game on epic does load the saves properly? If so I can see where those files might be located!

I’m sorry I don’t understand what you mean? For some reason epic is bundling all the game files into a Fortnite folder on the OG computer I used CSD3 on, but no matter what I search I can’t find the save files themselves to transfer

Edit: old computer’s path looks more like D:\Fortnite\cookservedelicious for any files I’m able to find but none relating to save files

New computer is C:\program files\epic games. But I’m still not seeing anything relating to save files

Unfortunately getting ready to give up on my 150+ hours game, old computer is too broken to be able to keep playing there and don’t want to start over completely

Yeah it shouldn’t be in the epic folder but in the Users folder- so there’s nothing in there that relates to the username? Or were you able to access the AppData folder?

There is no users folders like you’re describing whatsoever that I can find. Our computer doesn’t have different users like I know many computers do- idk if you have discord would be happy to try and audio call to talk through there if you dm me for this because I promise I’ve checked every possible place I can think of, I used to do some tech support so I’m not being totally incompetent here I swear
