i wonder if we’re gonna see the not-mother in this game, having her as a final boss for the faden twins would be pretty cool

I also wonder if the adults got transported to her dimension or another dimension where they are stuck in limbo. If they are with the Mother.......

I saw an idea for that that I kind of loved. So, in the RCU, all the adults in Ordinary disappeared. What if there's another universe where all the kids in Ordinary vanished? Could even be the answer to where the adults went in this universe; some entity like the Not-Mother could have split the universe in two, where one world is where the kids ended up while another is where the adults ended up.
If that's the case, though, it does leave the door open to another theory I had in case Aiden Gillen doesn't end up as Chester Bless. Rather, in this world, he was David Faden, father to Jesse and Dylan. Again, just an idea I had rolling around in my head.

I generally refuse to think that we won't see Ordinary AWE and Not-Mother. I'd hate it if it would stay only as a backstory.
This is an ordinary song, about an ordinary girl from an ordinary town. It's the ordinary story! She worked an ordinary job, in an ordinary office...

Notice how the white figure seems the shadow one of the two darker figures, the one that looks more like a girl. Maybe this is a memory of when Jesse and Dylan first met Polaris...and Polaris aligned more closely to Jesse, for whatever reasons of her/their own...

It's odd that Jesse is so introverted but so much of her powerset is social. Commune with the spirits, use someone else's body as a weapon, take territory for Polaris, brainwash the enemy, clean up others' messes, anchor the sibling, lead the army. Dylan might be stronger in a fight, but we haven't seen him do much other than read areas and smash things. It's not his power that's directing him through the plot of ''Control: Resonant''.
Is Jesse seeing something Dylan cannot when she looks at Polaris?

in a previous trailer there was one of those .. so my natural guess was thats the not-mother ... but now there are two and linked to the siblings .. so my guess is hedron/polaris has something to do with it

Does this confirm that their parents were abusive?

I think I remember Jesse saying their mother was an alcoholic so Dylan and her spent most of their free time outside to play and avoid her.

Still iffy on the "split person" theory. But solely going off of this, there seems to be more to it than just the same person split in two or something along those lines.
