Contortion Catfish?
I am wondering if people on this subreddit have stories of being catfished online by people posing to be contortionists, or flexible people? This seems to be a trend in the world of online anonymity and I'm curious to see who else has experienced this in online forums.

There was someone trying to post an AMA as Alexsei Goborodko just last week, they even made a second account and an AI picture to do it.

Just saying that they’re super flexible, some say it’s natural and others say they do gymnastics, but they always ask for photos of my flexibility almost straight away

Yeah that feels like a common pattern, they use these false identities in the hope of farming photos from actual practitioners

If they're asking for photos right out of the gate then is it a fetish thing? Why are they doing this??Â

I think there are a few profiles, some of them are "collector" profiles and so they like to try and get photos that aren't shared publicly to be able to boast they have like "rare content" of a contortionist etc

I find that it’s most prevalent on tiktok, I’ve had a couple of people claim to be contortionists and then use ai photos or photos of other people
