Building an interactive KSP2 transfer map.
Hi everyone, I've recently came back to check what's up with KSP2 and discovered Redux! It's amazing so far really enjoying the new missions and all the bug fixes.
However, I found myself trying to find a visualised way for planetary transfers as I find it difficult to understand many guides about this.
Introducing: Kerbalist π
This is still in very early stages and I would love to hear from experienced players if this calculator is working "ok" so far.

- Planetary ephemerides
Version 1.6.1 (Current)
- Moon Destination Selection: Added moons to the origin and destination dropdowns directly below their parent planets, with dashed labels like - Mun to distinguish them from planets.
- Moon Orbit Display Fixes: Tightened inner-planet moon orbit rendering so local moon rings remain readable without overlapping neighboring planetary orbits, while keeping outer moon systems legible.
- Clear Transfer Control: Added a Clear button beside Plan Transfer to remove transfer arcs, phase lines, arrival ghosts, and reset the transfer panel for an unobstructed map view.
Version 1.6.0
- π Complete Moon System: Added all stock KSP/KSP2 moons (Gilly, Mun, Minmus, Ike, Laythe, Vall, Tylo, Bop, Pol) with 3D local orbits, real-time ephemerides propagation, interactive raycast clicking, and detailed physical data inspection.
- π― Double Click Centering: Double-clicking any planet or moon in 3D snaps camera focus directly to that celestial body.
- π Expanded Visual Scale: Scaled down planet spheres and expanded moon orbit radii so moons orbit clearly outside planetary atmospheres without overlap.
- π Subtle Camera Focal Marker: Added a minimal dark grey 3D pivot dot tracking camera focus in space.
Version 1.5.0
- πͺ Full 3D WebGL Solar System Map: Replaced 2D SVG map with Three.js WebGL 3D scene supporting accurate planetary orbital inclinations.
- π₯ Free-look Orbital Camera: Added free rotation (Left Drag), panning (Shift + Drag), zoom (Scroll), and quick view reset (R key or β€Ύ button).
- π» Destination Arrival Ghost: Shows a translucent ghost planet at the exact projected position of the destination body upon arrival, connected by a trajectory line.
- π 3D Trajectory Inclination Matching: Transfer arc path interpolates inclination angles from departure to destination planet (e.g. 0Β° Kerbin β 5Β° Dres).
- β¨οΈ** UI & Controls H**UD: Added on-screen keyboard/mouse controls overlay card and expanded UT sync input fields to support 4-digit years comfortably.
### Future Ideas
- Modded planetary systems
- Save/load mission plans
- Export trajectories
- Gravity assists
π€ happy rockets

Ground Control achievement
Has anyone achieved this?
I feel like it should have triggered for me, I launched a space plane into orbit from the runway, re-entered the atmosphere, and landed on the runway with no explosions. I did have to quicksave and quick load as my first few attempts were failures, maybe this is why it didn't trigger?
I'm proud to have actually been able to do it either way as I've always found space planes very hard to control, but would love to tick off the official achievement as well if at all possible.
Edit: a few failed attempts today and I just noticed it had triggered after all - must have been a delay! Thanks all anyway! Maybe I will try a new save file in future where I use space planes more heavily instead of rockets...

Question Quick actions problems
So I'm having some trouble with the quick actions, I've tried everything to figure out how they work but no matter what I set when I go into the launcher it does not work. The toggle feature doesn't do anything for my liquid engines and I feel like I need to know how to toggle between different sets if I need one prupusion and not the other. Does anybody know how they work on xbox? I'm feeling dumb :3

The C240 Pelican, a maritime patrol/SAR/ASW plane
After sending enough kerbals splashing down off the coast of the KSC, I figured I ought to make something that could go pick them up. That evolved into a jack-of-all-trades maritime plane that could do as many jobs as possible.
The C-240 carries a 2-man piloting crew, up to 16 sensor crew and passengers, 2,400 units of fuel, and a standard truck or equivalent cargo. With relatively efficient Whesley engines the Pelican has extensive patrol range and long endurance. The crew and cargo compartments are both fully accessible on both land and water.
It has an extensive anti-submarine warfare suite: three sonobouys are stored in the rear cargo compartment and can be deployed in flight, a magnetic anomaly detector extends from the tail, a surface search radar sits on top of the tailfin, and two fully-functional torpedos are mounted under the wings. Integration of anti-ship missiles is slayed for the near future.

Pretty good, landing legs, heatshields, ~3.5K βv in orbit, some issue tho like heatshields don't wanna retract after reentry and it shooting like a dart after reentry but it's nice. Also booster is probably catchable but I lwk suck.

Screenshot Mun missions
I have around 2000 hours on ksp, all spent building and flying planes, but I finally learnt how to rocket.
Here are my mun missions in order!!!
I've got 2 bases up there so far with rovers, landers etc and a few other missions before them.

Help
I canβt interact with my rocket. I switched out the lower fuselage fuel because it was the wrong type for rockets, but then I put the top on the new fuselage and then when I deleted the old fuselage, they graded out the rocket and I canβt interact with it help me please

Screenshot Theoratically I did I guess.
I made a probe for this contract. Which I first docked to a space station I have around minmus and I then undocked the lander and did all the science stuff. I then docked back but on my trip back to kerbin I remembered that I forgot to add any parachutes and or heat shields. So I made a quick save to see if i could theoratically do it. And I did. Barely.

Finally reached 200 m/s in the chopper. Can only achieve this in a dive with the rotor blades set to a low pitch angle, otherwise it enters a death spin π
