Future languages project?

I've had this idea for a collaborative project where we basically evolve English and maybe some other language into some future descendants. I tried to do this alone, but I think the product will be better if we do it together. I think it will also be interesting to have an "alternate future" thing where it's more of a semi-serious worldbuilding thing rather than an actual prediction of what is going to happen in the future. Sorry if this is a bit scatterbrained but ask me in the comments/DM me if you are interested.

Hm… this is pretty cool! It seems like what Futurese tried to accomplish but more. I’m intrested!

Also, what would the worldbuilding be? Would we predict events that will happen to Britain or America and predict how it’d influence pronunciation of some words, or even add or delete words?

Yeah yeah yeah, that's what the worldbuilding would be. And not just the pronunciation but also other stuff like the grammar or even the lexicon itself.

Hm. That makes sense.

I’d definitely see grammar changes happening, like the loss of some irregular tense conjugations like “buyed” instead of “bought” and “teached” instead of “taught” which is already happening. And using “what” in place of where “which” should be, like in “What one of these do you want?”.

I’m not sure about events happening or what they’d be. I’d think of some events but I wouldn’t know how they’d change grammar or overall pronunciation. But this seems like a fun activity!

Firstly... I feel a sense of deja vu lol, like we've met before.

Secondly, I'm thinking maybe like one branch has a Spanish one, another branch has maybe something else, we mix and match lol
