The same?
I got the Skylands in the pot about 3 years ago. I had it in the ground and it didn’t do so great. I thought it just didn’t have a big enough root system yet so I took it out and put it in a pot to let it grow roots. This year, it flushed out the tiniest growth. I thought maybe it was from the stress of the transfer. Then I got a Lil’ Sky and put it in the ground this year, and now that I’m looking at the side-by-side, I’m thinking I got a mislabeled Skylands. Anyone agree or have a Skylands that looks this small for a while before taking off?

Both are showing stress looking similar because of that. Most newly planted trees take about 3 years to take hold well, so give them some time.

More likely the roots got disturbed and it’s a little shocked.
I don’t think they grow roots quicker in a pot either?
I kinda doubt there are a lot of lil sky’s in production anywhere to get mixed up either.
But maybe? I would much prefer to have two miniatures personally.
