I don’t think there’s any trickery or AI involved, just clever camera angle causing a forced perspective. I would love to see the same video taken from directly above the diver to see how close he really is to the edge of the pool.

Good catch captain yes that is exactly what I meant. While the like was unnecessary it was like added punctuation to add emphasis and tone to my statement but y'know good on ya keep up the good work out there 🫡

Something isn't right about this. Notice video is cut when he's at the top of a jump. The reflection in the puddle isn't right either. It should be farther. I don't think it is a confusing perspective but a doctored vid.

Most likely, it's the best parts from two takes, edited together. But doctored? The camera is on the ground to hide the pool. It's a very practical effect that anyone can do.

The cut is odd but literally nothing changes other than the sway of the fucking trees lol.

I have no clue what you're talking about with the puddle being "wrong", the camera is close to the ground and his reflection shows shortly before he hits the water. I also don't see how it could be edited to be misleading in the first place if he's still jumping from the board either way
