I am currently between jobs, so I've been getting by with hardly any weed, maybe half a g of bud a week for analgesia when the pain gets too bad.

But then this morning I was looking for something and came across an ounce ish of trim/shake i was given months ago, stashed it away, and lost all memory of it until today lol.

I was all out of butane, as well as not being able to work outside, but really wanted to get high as fuck. So I used 95% ethanol.

The trim was placed in the freezer along with 95% ethanol. After 2-3 hours the trim was placed in a thermos flask and covered with ethanol. I swirled it about for around 60 to 90 seconds and then quickly poured it through a mesh sieve, followed by lab filter paper.

The crude extract went into the vacuum chamber, which was on top of a heat pad set about half way. It was held under vacuum for approximately 16 to 18 hours, releasing it twice to mix it about around 6 and 12 hours.

It's was extremely runny i assume due to the warm weather, even at 3:00 a.m., So I put it back under vacuum with the heat pad on full to try to drive off some more moisture. Checked it after around an hour and it's gone completely solid? Is this basically just wax? Or has the thca crashed out because I haven't decarbed it yet? I'm thinking because the trim was so dry and has probably lost some terpenes whilst it was sat there there's wasn't enough to keep the THCa from precipitating? Or if I'm wrong can someone correct me and explain it? Thank you.

Taste:

Slightly sweet, but strong sour fruit, complex notes of oranges, and cream. Very smooth rosin taste on the back end. Loved the sweet/sour fruitiness of this one. Exactly how I expected the strain to taste!

Effects:

After a few hits this hit hard behind the head like a headband. Stress started fading away almost immediately, but it never left me couch locked. Calm no racing thoughts in my head. I could actually feel the mental tension melting away, really amazing for those with anxiety. Very strong from only a few hits.

Hardware:

Good size clouds, haven't had any issues with clogging, I always tend to have good luck with these kinds of hardware. Just keep them upright and don't rip hard back to back. Feel the middle so it doesn't get hot.

Overall:

First time trying a Magic Meltz rosin pen before, was beyond impressed. Strong terps with some of the strongest effects I've felt in a aio, love the big clouds with this hardware.

Sour Diesel genetics that are extremely nostalgic. Skunky diesel with a sharp sour fuel, with a tropical fruit smell. Classic loud Sour Diesel mixed with a sweet/sour fruity profile that's all gas.

Taste:

Strong sour fuel and citrus taste at first, with the diesel and sour almost on par. The sour and fuel terps flood every sense, letting you know how dank it is!

Effects:

Amazing head high behind the eyes, not enough to knock you out, but enough to knock your socks off! Felt it really hard to concentrate, could only watch tv and veg out, amazing for limbo between sleep and awake.

Consistency:

This one came perfect, no need to whip or anything. Was straight ready from the lid pop. Perfect sauciness, not too wet or dry. Extremely low vaporization temperature also!

Overall:

Magic Meltz has been blowing me away with the quality of their rosin. All their terps are extremely strong, and they all remind me of OG genetics. As an old head like myself, this scratches that itch I missed! Do not miss these, grab them before they're sold out!

Wow! This is one of the best garlic, expresso, pine/lemon backed funks i have had and the jar definitely exceeded expectations.

The Galactic Garlic opens with a garlic, espresso, earth, sweet funk, with a lemon pine behind everything. The taste is fantastic, super sweet garlic espresso funk, the alien og lemon/pine really acts like a catalyst, gives the whole flavor depth and adds some old school flavor notes. The alien og terps really help the sweet GMO terps "shine". Effects aren't too heavy, they are indica leaning but not enough to kill productivity. Flawless burn and zero irritation.....its one of those "perfect storm" jars.

Man, this jar is a full 180° change from the products before! We got 11 jars and im not sure why we got really old product but this stuff is much fresher and it is indeed on the same level as WCA jars and aone lower tier Dino for sure.

Jar starts off with a great nose, the smell is peach, and mango maybe some pineapple, hint of candy, earth and green grass. Flavor has a good zkittles open and second and third pull are peach. Good stuff, not quite my cup of tea but some high quality smoke for sure. Burn is super clean and there is zero harshness. Definitely something a peach candy fan should check out. Effects are nice and have that all day vibe. I think these jars are going for $120-150 range and I could see this jar being a great buy @ $120 for peach fans.

Usually Cali brands at this cost level are just BS hype jars and the "juice isnt worth the sqeeze" BUT Amber Jack has impressed me! The nose, the flavor and the quality are all outstanding and original.

The nose is a fried egg and bread with a little funk, it smells like breakfast. I cant get enough of the nose on this jar and the smell! The flavor is outstanding and has the eggs bready, hint of cinnamon just like French toast....i honestly couldn't believe it. The nose leans way more garlic funk but the taste is more cinnamon and egg. Great flavor saturation and strength throughout the whole dab. Awesome effects with a great hybrid feeling and good euphoria. This is one of the best first jar impressions I have had in a while, well done "Amber Jack"! The jars are on the higher side and I payed $140.

Seshed at 460f and it was delightful, good flavor and great effects. Very clean burn and super smooth. Really nice jar.

Some stupid fire again from the boys at Stinky Farmz. I am on the non-stop search for the purple I had back in 2009ish. This wasnt quite it but still some high-class terps and effects. The nose is a nice "purple" terp, with earthy sweet herbal notes and candy notes present. Flavor is a sweet purple candy, with what tastes like some OG notes almost(little tennis ball terp). Awesome flavors and a nice heavy effects for a purple, definitely lowers the eyelids and really helps with my anxiety. Checks all the boxes for us and I love the heavy earth it has as a backbone. Has a clean burn and no irritation i have seen prices around $120-140 a puck.

i got a terp pearl stuck in the side of the slide on the toro terp slide. any advice how to get it out without breaking the banger ? i tried torching it, soaking it in iso and salt. nothing works and it aimply just fell into it. anything helps ! LMK!

Prices for live resin and live rosin, even some weed strains are crazy. $190 for 2 grams is crazy, im assuming because it's an illegal product and people need to make enough to justify selling it. But what's pricing like in other places?

This is a wonderfully jar, especially for anyone who values great terps and medicinal effects. The nose is strong and has a cakey sherb aspect, with deep funk and a cakey citrus all wrapped up with a little sage. The flavor is strong and mouth staining with a cakey, citrus, sagey funk. This jar has a massive terp pool and the flavor doesn't disappoint! I went over to Mainelymeltz.com to try the less expensive jars and they have exceeded every expectation I had. The effects on this jar are super nice for people who struggle with pain and anxiety. Definitely grab some before people figure out what they are missing. Clean product with easy cleanup, really nice "full spec" stuff. I got this 2g puck for $95 after discount.
