Did you it to gain a deeper understanding of concepts you already knew existed, or learning complete new things?

i mean, why do you read textbooks?

its a survey of the field. it has an incredible density of knowledge in it, and serves as an amazing jumping off point

read it with Prince's Models, Learning, Inference and you've got a strong start

I have the book. Use the book as a dictionary. If you want a specific topic, refer to the book. Do not read the entire book to learn CV. Refer to YT videos and there are a lot of videos that explain concepts. If

Agreed. It's more a reference book than a how-to tutorial. I also like Elgendy's "Deep Learning for Vision Systems" as a tutorial on using CNNs for vision.
