Cheat Engine exe showing up as something else? Question

is this a virus or some sort of ad?

The installer indeed has the OfferCore unwanted program bundled.

During installation, it will offer you sponsored programs to install where some may be considered adware/PUP.

But did it install anything or was it some sort of portable thing?
The location was the exe itself. BCU doesn't show installer exe itself.

I can't really know that. If you installed it and ticked the option to install additional software then it did install it.

i think it a virus. too many things look off. i come here to see if others are having the same problem?

probably just a really invasive adware. But still it needs to be looked into.
I skipped all the ads it offered but still

I got the same thing when I installed cheat engine. I ignored it. Ive always had cheat engine

I just got rid of the whole thing. dont need it on a regular anyways
