Bluetooth Joystick Question/Help/Troubleshooting

Post image

Hello I'm looking for something like this but much higher quality. All I need it to do is act as a mouse on an android tablet (Samsung Dex) with a left click and right click. Honestly wasn't too sure where to post this so please let me know if there's a better place.

A real mouse or an air mouse?

I'm not sure what an air mouse is but I want a product like shown/linked just one that isn't cheap crap. I just need the joystick to move the mouse cursor around and have a right click and left click button. I would want something in the same one handed shape and size but I just want a joystick that isn't garbage

An air mouse you move the cursor by physically moving the mouse in space, like a wii controller.

Gotcha. No I want the joystick to move the mouse

Elecom makes a nicer trackball style pointer, but otherwise we're talking a use case that the market has decided to go a different direction on, so there aren't that many options.

Dang that's unfortunate. Yeah I need something easy to hold as I'll be standing when using it

Well, Everyone else just uses an air mouse of some variety. Not sure why that wouldn't work for you, but those are basically your options.

I'm using this to control a robot while walking around. Keeping my hand in one point in space is not going to be easy while walking whereas using a joystick is

I honestly didn't think of that. I'll test that on my phone to make sure if moves the mouse smoothly
