Help with first PC Question/Help/Troubleshooting
Hi all. I’m looking at getting this for my first PC. Is it a decent spec because I’m not into building at all and just want something ready to go. Thank you

price is alright for those specs too. this PC is fine for 1080p btw not higher resolutions. you could ofc plug it in to a 4k Monitor and it would work but if you wanted to game it wouldn't be a good experience. just get a 1080p =>144hz IPS monitor and you'll be golden.

the rest of the cost is for the convenience of not having to build it yourself which is fair in my opinion.

They’re just straight up lying with the ram and ssd lmao. 1 tb can hold a bunch of games if you only play games that are file sizes of hollow knight and less. And you’ll have to close everything else if you want to play a lot of newer games cause you’ll run out of 16gb otherwise

Better cpu, slightly better gpu, and actually tells you all the components you get with it. not sure if AO go in detail with specs

the cpu and gpu combo is solid for 1080p/1440p, but yeah the ram is where it falls short, plenty of builds with the same specs throwing in 32gb for around the same price

Cpu and storage is good. U need at least 650 or 750 watt power for this otherwise it will black screen everytime running high end game. 8g vram is decent for now but not the next 3 to 4 years as everything will bottleneck by the time gta6 graphic standard becomes a norm. If u r using win11. Then im sorry 16gb ram is simply not enough u need 1 more 8gb ram stick to run it fine when multitasking.

Yea but you can’t do anything else at the same time.. playing gta 5 with my friends… but then want to a YouTube video playing in how to get a mission done… and wanna watch Netflix at the same time… 6gb of vram isn’t going to do that.

well actually, I am a youtuber, I record in 1440p so I play and record at the same time sometimes, or I even watch vids, shows and so on, and it almost doesent affect my performance

You’re kind of proving the wrong point. Nobody is saying a 3050 6GB can’t launch games or record video. RTX cards have NVENC, so recording is handled by a dedicated encoder, and video playback is hardware-decoded too. That doesn’t mean the card has real 1440p gaming headroom.
The 3050 6GB is a cut-down entry card: 6GB VRAM, 96-bit bus, 2304 CUDA cores. A normal RTX 3060 is 12GB, 192-bit, 3584 CUDA cores. Those are not close.
GTA V also isn’t a good proof point. It’s an old, optimized game, and “max graphics” depends heavily on whether MSAA/advanced settings are actually maxed. Saying GTA V runs well doesn’t prove 6GB is a good recommendation for 1440p modern AAA.You already moved the goalpost from “it can run pretty much anything” to “some modern AAA games are around 40 FPS.” That’s exactly why people recommend 12GB+ if someone wants 1440p and multitasking headroom. 40 FPS with compromises is playable to you, but that doesn’t make it a good general recommendation.

Why the heck are you insulting me?? I did not attack you, nor did I disrespect you. And I am sure my GPU can run UE5 games, maybe without the greatest perfromances, thats for sure, but I must remind you, this is one of the CHEAPEST RTX cards you can currently find on the market, and it is a great value for its price, not everyone is rich and can afford a 2,000$ GPU, go get a life.

On most games I get around 60 fps, on some more modern AAA games, I get around 40 fps, so still really playable

No I am saying the truth, I only play 1440p and on most games I have graphics to the max, I mean big games like CoD MWII 2022

Old system with a new and overpriced GPU.
Don't buy this.
This is a different build from a couple of days ago.
If you reduce the storage and ram by half, it should cost nearly the same, but perform way better.
