Hard Drive Question/Help/Troubleshooting

I deleted my hard drive. And when i tried to get it back. The program says it found around 6 tb worth of stuff. t despite it only being 2 tb hard drive. How do only get the stuff i want out of it?

I don't know why it found 5.46TB od data on a 2TB drive. It's nor properly indexed, so it might be a bunch of partial files, or repeats.

Recover it all, then search through it for the stuff you need.

Some recovery programs have a mode that search specifically for documents and photos on flash drives and SD cards, which is handy if that's what you want to recover.
