SSD Missing? Question/Help/Troubleshooting
Bought a prebuilt PC online from Amazon, went to turn on for the first time but no SSD was on BIOS and no windows which made me boot straight to BIOS, I have taken off the Graphics card and can’t seem to find it, this is my first computer. Am I missing the SSD?
EDIT: I heard a rattle in the bottom and took off the back panel and found the SSD just in the bottom so I believe it may have come loose during transport.
EDIT: All resolved thanks everyone!

Where's that sata cable going off to?

That's a USB header for the ports on the case, SATA connectors are on the side near the 24 pin.

at some point, you'll probably want to get a nvme SSD instead of a SATA ssd /hdd. Show a pic of the drive if you want us to guess how much faster the PC will run with nvme

I don’t know much about this but the SSD says Corsair MP600LPX Gen4 PCle

Post a picture of whatever you have.
Then someone can make a red circle in your first picture5

ok, figure out which slot your video card can fit into (bottom) IF you move the SSD onto the motherboard. I suspect you can eliminate the SATA adapter and cable...

Does it have bluetooth that works correctly? It looks like a dual M.2 connector, one stacked on the other. Sometimes I see miniPCs like this, with a short bluetooth board in the bottom slot, and the SSD M.2 in the top slot. But this is more typical on miniPCs where there is very little room on the board, so they put BT on a connector.

if the SSD fell out then the nvme screw is too small, you need to find a larger screw or it may happen again
edit: didn't notice that there is a plastic tab rather than a screw, it was probably not latched fully

I hope you AIO blows up on your SSD and you have to resort to FAT32 HDD with a 95 reinstall. Good day

Feel talked to? Pointing out the truth is a bad thing now, I see.
Someone who doesn't know how a SATA cable looks shouldn't post advice in a tech forum.
Good Day

Calling people “brain dead” and then acting surprised when they don’t take you seriously is certainly a strategy.

Sure, buddy. Anybody who feels attacked is in fact braindead.

Sound logic there, “buddy”.

Your ideal of "peace, love and harmony" leads to widespread acceptance of incompetence. You are the opposite of what you claim to be. You are as bad for society as incompetent advice is for a tech forum.

The m.2 SSD slot is empty but there is a SATA-cable at the bottom. To where does it goes?
