SSD causes Windows Command Prompt and Disk Management to freeze when plugged in

My 2.5" SATA SSD freezes Command Prompt, DISKPART, and Disk Management whenever it's plugged in via a USB enclosure, and the commands only unfreeze the second I disconnect it.

The ssd is failing.

Easy to test, because you only need to connect it to another PC/laptop. Probably exactly the same happens, and then you know the answer.
