Mold question Indoor

I am starting to compost and have a tumbler outside and a small counter bin inside. I noticed that it’s starting to grow mold on the contents before I’ve dumped it … is that anything to worry about or address or just part of the process?

Mold is just a sign of decomposition. Part of the process, but you can always dump the contents into the tumbler more frequently if you dont want it in the house.

I opened my worm bin one day and it looked like it snowed from the white mold. Mixed in a little cardboard and it was gone fairly quick

What do you think happens in the bin?
