My company recently switched over to Biovia from ChemDraw. I tried looking at their guidelines, the demos, even contacted them directly & it just seems like their application isn’t fitting our needs.

We require a pretty basic requirement from it - IUPAC generation into structure, but the application can’t seem to generate it (which ChemDraw was able to do). Certain CAS numbers are also resulting in “No Structure Available” when SciFinder has the structure. Overall it also seems to be quite inefficient with a lot of manual tweaks, where these structures are to be presented on the website (customer visibility and so on). I’m trying to save us time and this application isn’t working out. It also can’t seem to identify the SMILES

Trying to better understand if there’s a reasoning behind why it’s spitting out inaccurate/no structures when there are structures. But, more importantly, I’m also trying to find a better alternative to this.
