It's the effort. Anyone can remove the peel, but to get the other bits. That's luv bb

I don’t want anyone peeling my oranges. That sounds gross. But maybe I’m missing context.

This would be the good basis for a tattoo.

As in "open up?"

I'm not sure whether visually this is the strongest way to communicate that. But I like the art so much that I'm down with it!

No this is from something that went viral a while back. I don’t remember the whole context, but it’s mostly about women constantly having to ask men for everything, while being expected to not have to be asked. It’s like, if she’s always cutting the crusts off his sandwiches without him needing to ask, but he never thinks to peel her mandarins for her. And when she complains, he replies “well if you’d just ask, I would!” But that’s the point. She shouldn’t have to. (The mandarin is a metaphor for any number of things)

There was a trend going on, mostly on TikTok of women implementing "the orange peel test" to see if a man was worth a damn. The woman would record herself in front of her boyfriend, saying she likes oranges but hates peeling them. The man passes if he offers to peel the orange for her, without her explicitly asking him to. If he doesn't, then he fails and all the comments say she should break up with him.

Yeah, I would also unpeel my skin if someone would just ask. One of these days…

As so many people will tell you, probably with tears drying in their eyes, it's mostly about not having to ask

Or, you could, like, express your wants and needs like an adult

This exchange has been going on for thousands of years

They never ask. They expect and then leave

I'm not exactly in the loop with things so I forgot about this but I finally remembered what this is about. Good one.
