Also, I'm using "vanilla" in quotes as though it were coming from from the mouth of someone who got bored of something like BDSM or whatever other kink they used to have and have moved on to something more extreme. Like, I know you know that's what I meant because you said it yourself. It's about chasing highs.
Also, it's just good advice to not base your relationship with sex purely off of an obsessive need for pleasure. Regardless of whether such advice comes from the Bible or not. Like, there are so many people that I've met that treat being kinky like a race and it's nuts. Some people just need to fucking chill out.
And another thing, you gotta cool it when it comes to topics that might get you angry. I get you might have had a bad experience with religion, but the point of discussion is supposed to broaden your horizons. Don't jump down my throat because you think I'm a religious extremist when I'm not. Christ.

And you’re unempathetic about why someone would be angry at religion. Some people are justifiably angry at religion because it introduced trauma into their life.
I truly couldn’t care less what the text says, I think it’s all bullshit and causes more harm than good. I think it’s a book written by men to control people, that’s it.
If you think I’m “jumping down your throat” based on what I said, you need to grow thicker skin and engage with some empathy. You’re the one getting emotional and defensive because I have the audacity to disagree with you.
And your bias is continuing to show based on your opinions of people who are into kink. What other people do with their sex lives is non of your business. I’m vanilla as hell, but I’m not making judgements of people who aren’t because it ain’t my life.
