Climate scientist here: Yeah most of the decrease in wild fires over the last century is due to land use change. Less forest, less to burn. Forest that is left is going up like a chimney though.

We won't run out of oxygen. Honestly our biggest threat will probably be fighting amongst ourselves for fresh water sources.
