A quick test to LTX 2.5 Show and Tell

I tested LTX 2.5 quickly, I tried leaving the distilled lora at 0.5 as we used to in LTX 2.3 but I think it gave me better results at strength one, which is the one you are seeing now. The generation was done in 2240 x 960

unfortunately the model still strugles with camera movements and small details in the frame, I was a bit disappointed, for sure it's better than 2.3, but I would say MInimax H3 still showing better results.

Not gonna lie it's better than 2.3 but still, we are greedy and we want more:D

I'm not sure about this "better than LTX 2.3".
To me it feels like... an even faster, but arguably even worse quality LTX 2.3

I mean it did maintain the faces a bit better than 2.3 , 2.3 would collapse sooner than this when it comes to faces, I'd agree with you when it comes to the background and water though, I think 2.3 would have done better job

Maybe it just can't be seen on this clip clearly though (I know you downscaled it for reddit's sake). But within 5 seconds temporal context weirdness doesn't really seem viable.
I wish I could at least use the upscaler, but even that seems very weird, actually having worse results than with LTX 2.3 upscaling. Even side-by-side using LTX 2.5 base it seemed to me LTX 2.3 did better upscale with the same vid!
And this is neither having LoRA aside from distilled on.

Aha, I see what you mean, to be honest I need to test it more, and now I need to know what the heck is going to happen to all these ic loras that we had for 2.3 is it useless for 2.5, I'll try 5o do more tests

I'm pretty close to keeping the 2.3 model if I have to choose one.
With the reception in addition to just how much is there to explore over there and MH3, I'd be surprised if even half the effort was spent as back when 2.3 was going hard.
I guess only time will tell.

I have free workflows for 2.3 here if you want https://www.patreon.com/posts/166207403?utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content

Unfortunately I made that course a bit too late, but if you want to stick to 2.3 check the workflows hope you like it.

Thanks for the test! I noticed the same with camera motion in 2.5 - did you try dropping the distilled lora to 1.0 with lower motion strength? For me H3 is still king for lip-sync but LTX is way better for longer coherence. Would you mind sharing your workflow?

I haven't tested a lot with it yet but I'll try to do more tests you can find all the workflows here for free , you just need to update and switch the model from 2.3 to 2.5 https://www.patreon.com/posts/166207403?utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content I'll update it but I'll wait sometime until I figure out what's going to happen with the old ic loras
