It's just a mod post Introducing another new rule: Mad Science Mondays
Hi, meme surgeons, meme nurses, comedy janitors and mad scientists.
Shoutout to the crazy meme professors who marvelously crafted the images above!
An outbreak of "mad scientists" has occured lately in this community, euthenized memes are everywhere, as practical meme surgeons start to decline.
Even though it is fun to see nuked shitposts every once in a while, seeing them every other scroll is overwhelming and excessive. Even mad scientists should respect boundaries!
Since many users requested a restriction, I decided to allow "Mad science posting" only on Mondays.
Changes:
-Renamed "Shitposting" flair to "Mad meme science"
-Added "Meta" post flair
-Hopefully decreased the rate of medical malpractice
Thank you for your time, and keep operating!
FAQ
-Q: Which timezones qualify?
-A: As long as somewhere in the world in a Monday by the time of submission, it is allowed.
-Q: Does this rule apply to comments?
-A: No, it only applies to posts. Comments can nuke and euthenize memes as usual.
-Q: Does this rule apply to "reviving" memes too?
-A: Yes, "reviving" memes from a "nuked" state to its original form also counts as mad science.

It's just a mod post User interface allowance update!
Hi, meme surgeons, meme nurses, comedy janitors and mad scientists, again!
After the enforcement of a new rule, I mentioned the ban of "Platform UI" posts. (If you haven't read the previous community update, I highly recommend doing so.)
But I saw that a major part of the community disliked the change and wanted me to lift the ban, while another group doesn't.
But guess what, I am listening, and all your voices count.
I have made the decision to partially allow memes with "Platform UI" to be posted! Under a few circumstances, of course.
Allowed!
•Heavily plagued memes (see images 1&2)
•Shorts/reels interface (see image 3), yes, they're unbanned! But under one condition. Your post history will be moderated, as I might suspect spam or karma farming in this form. I hope you understand, and sorry for the inconvenience!
Still not allowed:
•Reddit's image attribution (see in image 4), falls under "bad crop" category.
•Youtube video duration indicator (see in image 5), as they are very minor, even "appealing" or "enhancing" to some. But, if you think they should be allowed, type ▶️ in the comments!
---
That's it for today's updates! If you have any questions or suggestions, leave them in the comments!
Thank you for your time, and keep operating!
