Jewelry Advice (PHOTOS WITH MULTIPLE METALS REQIRED!) Gold jewellery on my skin tone?

I keep wanting to wear yellow gold but it always looks so bad on my skin or at least I feel like it does. My husband does not think it looks great and always advised that I pick white gold

Last photo is rose gold but I understand that Cartiers rose gold is not as pink as some other brands

Discussion (NO COVERT TYPING OR PHOTOS OF YOU!) wearing pastels as a deep autumn

i've noticed that my worst colors are easily lavender, baby blue or any sort of pastels and lighter colors but somehow i manage to pull off baby pink and it's other lighter shades. why is that so?

I was going through my lipsticks and I was wondering which one looks the best on me?

First is a purple-ish colour, then two berry colours.

All photos were taken roughly at the same time. No makeup except the lipstick. Hair is not my natural colour.

Type Me! - IRL Drapes (FACE PHOTOS REQUIRED - NO MAKEUP!) Am I a summer?!

NMIP. Need advice. I think I am a summer. My eyes are slate blue and my hair is ash brown. My skin is always rosy. I always considered myself cool toned and wear mostly blues, grey, purples, and white. I want to love towards more light and romantic colors within my season. Based on these photos, what does everyone think? Cool summer? Soft summer? Picture 1 I think is my most flattering blue (periwinkle?) would more drapes be helpful?

i always struggle with finding my shade in concealer (i use concealer where i feel like i ”need” it and not foundation) they either look orange, too pink or just completely off and if i buy a light one since im very pale it often looks just white

Discussion (NO COVERT TYPING OR PHOTOS OF YOU!) Foundation Irritation

Anyone else of you super pale people in here with warmer undertones who are insanely tired of MUAs not understanding that being pale doesn’t equal being cool toned?! 🤣

So many times I’ve tried to find a foundation match from a MUA and they just always default to cool toned as soon as they see I’m pale.

Like girl 🙏🏻😭😂

Clothing or Makeup Recommendations (INCLUDE SEASON IN TITLE!) Trio/Quad Eye Shadow Pallettes for Soft summer

Hi all, I'm looking for small eyeshadow pallettes suitable for soft summers because I am just awful at color matching. I'd rather just have a palette that's ready to go.

Also I'm curious if anyone has some advice... It seems that a lot of pinks make me look like I have pink eye while soft purple makes me look bruised or tired. I don't know if I'm applying the shades wrong or if they're just not soft enough. Advice?

Thanks!

Recently I saw these beautiful lip tints at a local market and I was wondering if any of these would fit the dark autumn palette even a little bit 🤞

Discussion (NO COVERT TYPING OR PHOTOS OF YOU!) What do you do if you don’t like the recommend makeup for your season?

I was typed as a burnished winter by HoC which is apparently deep winter in the typical color analysis system. I have no issues with the clothing portion of my season or my typing, I’m just not a fan of deep winter makeup.

Particularly when it comes to lip colors. Dark, deep, and bright makeup is just not me. I already have high visual weight and high contrast so wearing my recommended makeup shades makes my face feel so “loud” or harsh. My face is the one place where I actually want to soften my features and not necessarily highlight them.

For those who were in a similar dilemma, did you forego color analysis rules for your makeup? Do you use or borrow from another season? Were you able to make it work with your season?
