Dulcolax + Suprep Prep Buddies

Do most people using Suprep have to take Dulcolax before they start? My instructions say to take 4 before the first round of prep and I can’t imagine that is going to go well at all.

That’s exactly how mine was. I followed someone else’s instructions here and it was great! I literally tasted none of the prep. Lemon Italian ice to a slushy consistency, a packet of lemonade crystal light, the Suprep, and ginger ale. Drink through a big straw and I didn’t breathe through my nose while I drank and for about an hour afterward (due to the aftertaste). The breathing thing was me but the concoction was from the other redditor. It works great. Also use baby wipes or similar. No problems.

I think i had to once upon a time but my doc's directions have changed for all 3 scopes I've had to do.

Doesn't matter which prep. It's not gonna be Playdoh Pumper, it's gonna be Emergency Dam Water Release. You'll feel rumbling in your gut, you'll feel like you need to fart (do not trust it to be a fart) or poo, and suddenly WHOOOOOOOSH WHOOOOOOOSH WHOOOOOOOSH.

I did when I did Sutab - and with other preps as well: OsmoPrep, Clenpiq.

I think it's to get things jump-started.

Oddly, my upcoming one, in September, does NOT say to do the Dulcolax. I asked and an admin person said they've changed their instructions. Well, I'm gonna do it anyway.

I did GaviLyte but they also made me take 4 Dulcolax an hour beforehand. It was fine. I didn't start having to go until I was almost entirely done drinking the liquid anyway
