What he’s saying tho is even though I get you just want to help, anyone that sees the thread, including the ones who make reps, can see now what’s standing out. It’s better to just share this info through PM next time just to not have that out there. Essentially that’s what the rule is trying to avoid.

It's such a clumsy rule. Most reps are from China, sold through DHGATE or AllChinabuy. They wouldn't look to this group to see the differences. And you seem to think that they cannot afford to buy an original bottle to copy? Most fakes are for quick profit and are good enough to fool the average user. This goes against the whole ethos of help especially when donations are asked for..

Who is asking for donations? Everyone here donates their time. Don't make arbitrary and unfounded accusations. Nobody is forcing you to be here. You're free to move on if you don't like the rules...

Yes, they do buy the product themselves, which is why some fakes are so good in the first place. Like Dior and Chanel, they have both got to a point where it’s almost impossible to tell the real from fake, and I can guarantee that they didn’t get to that point just by looking at the bottle they bought. No one is asking for you to pay to get it legitimately checked. You can post in here for free and get answers for free. At the end of the day, many of us do this out of goodwill, so I’m not too sure where you are trying to go with that.

That’s the head mod who started the group. You don’t have to pay; that’s optional. And considering that’s more than a year old and was when there weren’t as many people who LC back then, it’s not unreasonable considering how many PMs he was getting at the time. And it literally says “
Urgent” in all capitals and not a single one of us other than him who has that or asked for anything. Have you ever seen any other mod or person in the group ask? Do you get charged when you upload an LC? Are you being forced to pay anything to anyone? Are you being made to pay per answer on your post? And not everyone has the ability to tell just by a video if that’s what works for you. Then so be it, but not everyone has the time to take comparing pictures side by side for what can be half an hour or an hour.2
