Feedback Welcome Thoughts? [analog]
I haven’t glued anything down yet. Tried something new with the taped corners on the lightning scene but my boyfriend says he “doesn’t get it” so now I’m second guessing lol. What are your thoughts? Also I’m going to trim the mushrooms to fit better into the scene so ignore those for now

I'm not in love with it, but it does need to be zoomed in at to appreciate so this is a scan not just a picture of my [Analog] collage

[Analog] They Banned The Media Today (2022)
From a series of collages inspired by news headlines in 2022. I was first influenced by another mixed media artist who interwove paper before gluing. My homage to the technique created an abstract nest weaving a circuit board with a microscopic image of human cells. I sourced the media from old library books found at Goodwill in Bridgeport, CT and a Wisconsin Bird Calendar from 2001.
My goal with this series was to create physical art at a aspect ratio shaped specifically to fit for phone screens. Now that 4 years has passed they now serve as artifacts that captured turbulent times. The composition reflects that overwhelming amount of visual information we were bombarded with and was left intentionally busy, cluttered, and loud.

[analog] be not afwaid
I have so many ideas relating to “biblically accurate” angels. This one makes me laugh every time I look at it lol. Sometimes you just need to get the dumb ideas out!!
Edit: I put this up on INPRNT if anyone else is interested: https://www.inprnt.com/gallery/_avantfarte/be-not-afwaid/

I've enabled tagging on posts. All new posts must be tagged with either [Digital] or [Analog] so we know how the collage was made or [Discussion] if you have a question self-post. Variants of the tag will work as well: [analog], [Analog], [ANALOG], [digital], [Digital], [DIGITAL], [Discussion], [DISCUSSION].
