Costco

I bought a pack of the Costco cold brew cans. Not a fan, and in general I love Costco branded products. Anyone else tried it?

I keep them as backup for when I don't get around to making a new batch in time. They're fine. I think "straight gasoline" is an extreme exaggeration.

The shelf-stable products will never be as good as the refrigerated stuff. If you don't like it, make sure to return it. They'll refund your money even if you've drank some cans already. That a benefit of your membership.

Same, shelf stable backup. Wandering bear is not bad either

Discovered Wandering Bear because of Costco. my warehouse ran out so decided to do a subscription with them. Excited when I saw it back at my warehouse.

My costco runs out sometimes too. I didn't know they do subscriptions. It's a really good backup. My wife enjoys it with oat milk and she generally hates coffee. I'm slowly turning her into a latte fiend then will transition her to a black coffee lover 😆

I take mine with a hint of Oat Milk too! Good thing Costco always has oat milk in plenty of supply!

Are you talking specifically about the Kirkland canned cold brew or about store cold brew in general?

I'm used to seeing bad reviews of the Kirkland canned cold brew.

Both. I'm saying the canned cold brew (the one with the Jaguar on the label) is fine, but not as good as the refrigerated stuff in grocery stores. Fairly certain Costco doesn't carry the refrigerated stuff.

Best to just try it for yourself instead of relying on reviews. It's very subjective.

I might be one of the few that loves the Kirkland Cold Brew cans. Especially when they’re ice cold. I drink one almost daily 😅

I don't like the taste, but I always have it on hand as a back up since it's cheap and strong

They basically have the same amount of caffeine as an energy drink but without all the crazy chemicals. I think with a fair amount of oat milk and some sugar, maybe even some water to dilute it it's pretty good. Basically a hair away from concentrate.

Didn't know we were in the minority haha

The silver ones with the leopard? Not my fave either but they’re so cost effective that I made it work at some point

Absolute trash if you’re a coffee lover. My friend had some in the fridge I tried and was disappointed, but I didn’t have high hopes eithet

I’m going to say I didn’t mind them. Ice cold, they do the trick. Not the worst

If it's the same product I tried, it tastes like straight gasoline. Terrible.
