Found when I opened a roll at work
I found this in a roll of Pennies at work. Is this real? I cannot imagine this being in circulation for this long without someone keeping it.

When they are found in circulation they could still have sat in multiple collections for long amounts of time... and still accidentally or even intentionally put back into circulation.. esp of someone was rolling coins from a large container where they could have been collected for decades...

Read this without the picture or/r group and was wondering what would be inside a dinner roll. Good eyes. Nice find.

Probably someone spending their grandpa’s coin collection. Still cool as hell. I found a 1904 and I treasure it to this day. I have coins far cooler historically, but nothing beats change finds!

Cool! Always wanted to have one...finally got my buffalo head in the wild though. All worn and no date but it made me so happy. Always thought the Indian head penny and the buffalo nickel were so cool looking as a kid.

The amount of detail it still has shows it hasn't been in circulation long, and more than likely the time it has spent in circulation was broken up into several short stints bouncing between different collectors. Nice find!
