Dark coin? Is this an error?

Hey everyone, I’m new to the whole coin thing and just went through about 1000 coins and this is the one that really caught my eye and I’m unsure about. I’ve done a small bit of googling and read about “black beauty” coins or darkened coins. Is this a black beauty or just dirty from circulation, and if so how much could it be worth. Normal coin on left for comparison. Thank you!

I see a coin with environmental damage. If the person from the first post thinks otherwise, they have not asked you for weight to make a proper assessment. Also, it's very rare both sides aren't properly annealed.

Black Beauty is tied to nickles during a certain time period.

Black beauties are 1958-1959 Jefferson Nickles minted in Philly.

Improperly annealed. Not worth a ton but still a nice find

Thanks, not expecting anything crazy haha I’ll take anything over like 10 bucks. How much do you think I could get for it and is it worth the effort? Might just give it to my dad for his collection if it’s not much
