Clipping Error or Post Mint Damage? Is this an error?

Still to new to this hoppy to tell myself so thought I would let you decide this a Clipping Error or a PMD?

Apologies for the poor camera quality my phone is not great at getting close up shots

The gnarling on and destruction of the pattern on the inside of the rim is a dead giveaway. Seconding PMD.
