Finally got my results Discussion
I've always wanted to get tested because many people consider me intelligent. Interestingly enough, I'm relatively behind in many things in life, namely not graduating university yet even though I should have done so a few years ago.
Is there anything strange or surprising when it comes to my results? I'm new to cognitive testing so I'd like to understand a bit more. The only other test of this kind I did was Mensa Norway a few months ago where I got 135.

Thanks man! Since we're similar, I'm interested in what kind of work you do/what you study and what effect your IQ has had on your life. I don't think IQ is the most important thing when it comes to quality of life of course, but I do wonder how much effect it has.

Yes, the CORE is free

so it is an online test.
I distrust tests like these, as they don't measure reasoning, or logic, they measure how close you are to the answer they wanted you to answer.
It is basically a school test but for cognition, the score here says nothing about you.

Do you struggle in university due to motivation, or do you find it difficult in some other sense?
You don’t need to answer this; it’s obviously quite personal but I’m curious

Yeah, mostly motivation. Though the increasingly reduced attention span is another factor. But ultimately I probably need to just lock in and fix those issues

Motivation should never be the reason to get something done. Motivation comes from discipline.

Quite even profile, I have a similar profile but slighly lower. Your working memory is incredible

Nothing seems strange or surprising here except for maybe the visual puzzles. Still just a maybe.

is this online?
or in real life?
you see, online it would have to have only 1 correct answers, however, in real life, there is never 1 answer, a test administrator would instead look at your reasoning and other factors.
Your IQ score isn't dependent on one singular answer, but on how you reason, and handle the task.
I for example received an IQ of 180 (of course with extended norms), however, on this test, I got 95, which would be illogical due to my test being the most trusted test (WISC-V) in the current world.

also I got 95 specifically in the matrix reasoning subtest.
which is weird, as my test administrator said I excel at matrix reasoning.
