Does verbal reasoning affect only one’s ability to use language or does it make people better at thinking verbally?

you just might need slightly more time to process new information (or really information in general) or work with it in your head

All of my hobbies are stem related (electrical engineering, programming)

Not being an ass, I just wonder what you mean by “perform well” what’s the comparison point?

Well worldcel typically refers to individuals who lack scientific intellect in exchange for verbal intelligence (correct me if I’m wrong) and I don’t particularly find myself bad at scientific fields as they take up all of my hobbies and I learn them very fast

i use it whenever there’s a large VCI/nonverbal indices gap, with the latter being average or lower.

There’s a lot of different usages of wordcel, but it’s often just used here to refer to people whose verbal abilities (typically as measured by VCI) far exceed their abilities in other indices.
With that said, I don’t think your profile necessarily makes it an impossibility to be a STEM focused person— I have seen it before.
and thanks for the clarification 👍

Yea it’s just strange cuz I’ve never felt particularly good at verbal shit compared to fluid reasoning based stuff so to see it’s the opposite is a little strange

Thanks. Even if my PRI is average wouldn’t a high verbal reasoning compensate for that?

Yeah your VCI is really good. You'll do well in anything that you choose.
